Thing of the Day
Issue 15 of VNA is ready to go...
MAY
24th 2011
The latest issue of Very Nearly Almost, featuring an in-depth interview with Shepard Fairey, will be launched with a party at Black Rat Press this Thursday night:
Very Nearly Almost is a love letter to street art and graffiti. Starting out as a hand-made black and white zine of photographs, today, it is a leading quarterly magazine documenting street art, graffiti and illustration in the UK.
Very Nearly Almost (VNA) are “proud to announce the release of Issue 15, with a unique cover and in-depth interview with street art legend Shepard Fairey. A man who needs little introduction, Fairey has gone from plastering lampposts with 'Andre has a Posse' stickers to designing President Obama's campaign posters; and he discusses all this and more with us in VNA 15”.
Not content with covering one of the biggest artists of our time in Shepard Fairey, VNA 15 also talks to stencil master Logan Hicks, East London's infamous Burning Candy crew, Austrian freehand master Nychos, and respected Scottish illustrator Elph///
