We Organ team have just taken
the running of the Gallery space at Patrick's Harvist under our wing for
a trio of art shows this summer..
The space is in the basement
of the rather friendly cafe/venue.
The gallery is open when
the cafe space is open, that means 9am - 5.30pm every day, and when something
is going on upstairs in the cafe area then at night as well... .

| First
shows in June, we start with the first PATRICK'S HARVIST ART FAIR.
The Art Fair will feature
a collection of exciting contermporary art from eleven artists
Vibrant art on the walls
to just enjoy, or if you're of a mind, to buy as a very reasonable price,
we won't say "affordable" because really what is "affordable"? We did originally
call it an "Affordable Art Fair", but no, this in not an "affordable" are
fair, this is a very reasonably priced art fair.. We shoud never have called
this as "affordable" art fair, what is "affordable"?. This is art in a
gallery space to just enjoy, art that just happens to be selling at reasonable
price.

CHUN, ROBIN CLARE, DAVID DIPRÉ, ELLA GURU, GURDISH HAUGSDAL, BEN
OAKLEY, CARRIE REICHARDT, MARIA SLOVAKOVA, SAM SZULC, TWINKLE TROUGHTON,
SEAN WORRALL.
The LOST CAVALRY will
play an acoustic set on the Thursday night opening. Delightful alt-folk,

And then it was over.
Three summer art shows at the Harvist gallery space brought to you
by Organ... Two months of art shows, fifthy or more diverse exciting vibrant
artists, live performances from Rude Mechanicals, Maria Slovakova and The
Lost Cavalry... On we go to the next venue...

 The
third and final event in the Patrick's Harvist summer series of art shows
from Organart and an ambitious gathering of 100 pieces of work in the gallery
space...
The ONE HUNDRED PAINTINGS
SUMMER SHOW. One Hundred paintings on the gallery walls for ten days..
All on sale at a price of one hundred pounds. One hundred times one hundred...
The artists are is all selected now, some people just showing one piece,
some a couple, some three or four. There will be no more than four pieces
of work per artist so you can expect lots of vibrant variety from both
established and emerging artists. Expect tradition next to abstract, street
art next to pop flavours, expect an exciting mix of
The show opens on the evening
of Thursday July 22nd and will run in the gallery space until August 1st.
The Opening Thursday night kicks of at 6.30pm, music, drink and a gathering
of the artists involved. Come meet people, art lovers come talk to the
artists, artists come network with other artists, eat cake, drink beer,
sip wine, buy art...

June 28th - We take a short
break after the two busy June shows... but but the gallery rooms are still
alive with art, vome have a look at work from JUSTIN BAILEY, ROBIN
CLARE, DAVID DIPRÉ, GURDISH HAUGSDAL, BEN OAKLEY, CARRIE REICHARDT,
MARIA SLOVAKOVA, TWINKLE TROUGHTON, SEAN WORRALL and more. New pieces
of work being added all time. Come enjoy art in a relaxed space in the
cool refreshing basement under the cafe...

June - 27th June - "SEAN WORRALL - PAINTINGS"
SEAN
WORRALL solo show on new and recent paintings.
With live performance and
artwork from MARIA SLOVAKOVA.
Latest paintings from Sean Worrall on seven of the eight walls of the art
space with Maria taking a wall for her work. We figured if bands can have
"supports bands" at their shows then why can't painters have "special guests"?.
Maria will also perform her spoken work/poetry with live soundscape electronics,
visuals and a cello player on the opening night.
Opening night, Thursday 17th
June. Doors 6.30pm, Maria performing at 8.30.
Gallery open 9.30am until
6pm every day, open late Wednesday to Saturday. Watch this space from more
events during the ten days of the show.
