2: SHADY BARD – Trials Part III (Reverb) – New single from the delicately beguiling Birmingham alternative band who’s debut album was an Organ magazine album of the week “songs alive with quiet texture and glowing colour...An album to sink yourself in for hours and hours... beautiful” we said in that review back in April 2009. 3: LIARS –  Pleasure Is Boss (Mute) – Liars have a new single out on May 24th, The Overchievers is from the latest album Sisterworld, it comes with a couple of unreleased b-sides including the track played here tonight. The US band are back the end of May for four UK dates including a show here in London at Shepherd’s Bush Empire on 27th May and three shows on the 29th, 30th and 31st in Bristol, Nottingham and Manchester as part as the three city Dot To Dot festival – www.liarsliarsliars.com or www.mute.com

4: CHILD ABUSE – Hold This (Lovepump Unlimited) – The New York trio’s latest album, Cut And Run, came out in the US back in April (two week’s ago). More of their challenging fusion of noise, death metal, free jazz, grind and all kind of awkward other things, Hella flavours, bizarre brutality and different rhythms – brilliant! We only just got our hands on it (well we haven’t been on air for a few weeks what with all the marathons and such). 5: BOREDOMS – We Never Sleep (Wiiija) –  Boredoms are in town this week for one of those multi-drummer shows this Tuesday 11th at the London Forum. This is a slice of classic early Boredoms from the Onanie Bomb Meets The Sex Pistols album that came out in the early 90’s. Extreme avant Japanese noise and experimentation. And thanks to everyone who tuned in, bid and got involved in the Resonance weekend fund-raising marathon, especially those who bid on the Boredoms tickets we Organ team had to auction (thanks to the good people at ATP). www.myspace.com/boredoms

6: Zs – Don’t Touch Me (The Social Registry) –  One of the very best New York avant rock bands. Hardboiled experimental adventure, that gap somewhere neat experimental rock, free jazz, noise and a new album called New Slaves that’s out (in the U.S at least) this coming week – for fans of Lightning Bolt, Boredoms, This Heat, Orthrelm, Flying Luttenbachers and such, so says the press release. 7: LOUIS LINGG AND THE BOMBS – Chomsky Changed My Life (self release) –  The comic book-flavoured Anarchist punk outfit from France have an album of material out, or on the way out or just out, a CDr or who knows really. We know they’re a very fine band, loaded with rather explosive song outbursts, alive with fizz and fuzz and riot girl/boy undertones and go explore, one of the finest underground DIY bands out there – www.myspace.com/louislingandthebombs

8: KAYO DOT –  Calonyction Girl (Hydrahead) –  Another track from KayoDot’s excellent new album Coyote, now this is real prog – progressive in terms of forward-looking boundary pushing complexity and atmospheric dexterity, progressive in terms of classical flavoured other rock, and if you need more words there’s a rather in-depth album review to be found on the Organ pages. www.hydrahead.com or www.myspace.com/kayodot

9: SATURNALIA – Disappear (Eardrumspop) –  Encountered a rather fine alt.folk indie band playing at the Low-fi Fayre over at Patrick’s Harvist, Kensal Rise, over in North West London, yesterday afternoon. The band were called The Lost Cavalry, fine songs coloured with brushed drums and bright chimes of melodica and glokenspiel. This track is on an album of collaborations called Between Two Waves (comes out in three volumes, this track is on Volume one), Saturnalia are The Lost Cavalry collaborating with We Walk On Ice, find the details of the album and The Lost Cavalry via www.myspace.com/thelostcavalry – catch both The Lost Cavalry and We Walk On Ice at the Red And Cyan film premier at Bardens Boudoir, Stoke Newington, London on Wednesday 12th May. 

10: CLERIC –  A Rush Of Blood (Web Of Mimicry) – Philadelphia four piece Cleric have a new album Regressions out, a feast of experimental grindcore metal boundary pushing and a ten minute track from the excellent album – brutal experimentation and oh yes... www.iamcleric.com or www.myspace.com/cleric or www.webofmimicry.com

11: HARVEY MILK – I Know This Is All My Fault (Hydrahead) –  New album on the way from the band from Atlanta Georgia, goes by the name of A Small Turn Of Human Kindness, comes out on June 7th. Have they got darker and bleaker this time around? Heavy experimental edge driven by monster riffs and formidable big rock – www.myspace.com/harveymilk

12: BLACK CARROT – No One Sings Songs For Guilty Men (Tin Angel) –  Another new album, this one out in June, Black Carrot are from Market Harborough, The new album is called Milking The Scarabs From Dough – English alt.rock new wave experimentation of a Pere Ubu, Captain Beefheart,  Sleepy People nature, alternative new wave pop with different angles and English eccentricities - www.myspace.com/theblackcarrot

13: ENABLERS –  Output Negative Space (Neurot) -  Classic slice of 2004 Enablers and  their unique (almost spoken) wordery. 14: SEAGULL KINEVIL - Black Lemons (self release) –  Strange rock, most certainly rock, hard rock from the isle of Anglesey, lots of mushrooms and things on that Welsh island, and one and a half minutes Ram Jam black lemons from Seagull Kinevil’s  self released album To Insanity And Beyond – www.seagullkinevil.com

15: KONONO No1 – Wumbanzanga (Crammed Discs)  - Slice of Congotronics and some classic scrap-yard electronic rhythms from the long-standing outfit from the Congo to end tonight’s show.
